Meet Dr. Zain Husain, MD
Dr. Zain Husain, MD, FAAD is a dual board-certified dermatologist and Mohs micrographic surgeon with fellowship training in cosmetic dermatology. His medical education began with his acceptance into the competitive accelerated 7-year BS/MD program at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. There he graduated with the top academic honors and was inducted into the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Based on his strong academic record and interest in dermatology, Dr. Husain was selected to train at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC for his dermatology residency. There he excelled and served as chief resident in his final year. Subsequently, he pursued a dual fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and cosmetic dermatology at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He received extensive training in advanced skin cancer surgery and reconstruction, as well as cosmetic procedures such as injectables, body contouring, and laser surgery.
After completing fellowship, Dr. Zain Husain worked in private practice and served as a clinical dermatology instructor at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. After his wife completed her pediatric residency, they moved to New Jersey where Dr. Husain established a thriving independent dermatology practice and also served as a clinical dermatology instructor at Rutgers University. His practice quickly earned a reputation as a premier destination for dermatology services, reflecting his unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care.
After several years in practice in NJ, Dr. Husain and his wife decided to relocate their family to the picturesque state of North Carolina, where he founded Noor Dermatology and Aesthetics in Cary, NC. His vision was clear—to create a state-of-the-art dermatology center of excellence in the vibrant Triangle area, providing the community with unparalleled care and service in a beautiful, comfortable office environment.
Beyond his clinical pursuits, Dr. Husain has shared his knowledge with the medical community by delivering lectures on various dermatologic topics at national conferences and contributing articles to prestigious peer-reviewed medical journals. His dedication to continuous learning is underscored by his membership in organizations such as the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS), and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery (ASDS).
In his leisure time, Dr. Husain enjoys watching movies, running, and weightlifting. An avid traveler, he loves the opportunity to explore new countries, cultures, and cuisines. He lives with his wife and their two young daughters.

Meet Dr. Syeda Amna Husain, MD
Dr. Amna Husain, MD, IBCLC, is a board-certified pediatrician and lactation consultant. She earned her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and completed her pediatric residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. Dr. Amna Husain has a particular interest in pediatric dermatology and has had advanced training and experience in this field. With her extensive pediatric background, she focuses on providing child-centered care while crafting plans that instill confidence in parents and caregivers.
Dr. Amna Husain is also an accomplished children’s book author and educator on social media where she shares parenting and pediatric medical tips and education. She currently lives in the Triangle with her husband and two daughters.
Meet Heather Murray, PA-C
Heather Murray, PA-C is a distinguished board-certified and fellowship-trained dermatology physician assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and subsequently obtained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Butler University. She delivers holistic, versatile, and top-tier care to establish healthy, beautiful skin.
Heather began practicing as a dermatology physician assistant in 2020 in Denver, Colorado. As a North Carolina native, Heather returned to her home state to join the esteemed Noor Dermatology and Aesthetics Center and be closer to family. With a warm and attentive demeanor, Heather has a deep-rooted commitment to the well-being of her patients. She ensures every patient feels valued and heard, and it is important to her that patients have the utmost confidence in placing their trust in a healthcare provider. Heather consistently seeks ways to elevate patient experiences. She is a diplomate fellow and active member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Her pursuit of excellence extends to the world of aesthetic dermatology, where she has acquired specialized training and certifications.

Specializing in chemical peels, microneedling, medical-grade facials, and laser treatments, she also takes pride in crafting personalized at-home skincare routines to enhance the outcomes of in-office procedures. With a wealth of experience in both medical dermatology and aesthetics, Courtney is dedicated to delivering results-driven procedures while fostering enduring relationships with her clients. Outside of work, she enjoys engaging in trivia with friends, exploring new destinations, and cherishing moments with her two cats.
